Gaskets Specification
A gasket is generally a mechanically seal that joins two surfaces in order to prevent any leaks, and offer protection against the weather.
The gaskets from Windows Doors UK offer a twin gasket system for full weatherproofing that has been fully tested and approved.
Our gaskets have a good physical and thermal quality, as well as an extremely low closing force (to prevent damage) and a high-resistance to ageing, weathering and UV.
Locking Systems Specification
A multi-point locking system usually has at least 3 locking points that lock at the same time at the turn of a key.
At Windows Doors UK, we use the Winkhaus Multi-Locking System for doors. We think this system offers great protection and comfort in the home.
You can choose to have a 3-point locking system with hooks, a 5-point locking system with hooks or a 3-point locking system with entry guard, as well as having the choice of an automatic locking system or an automatic electronic locking system.
Saint Gobain Glass
Saint Gobain glass can be incorporated with Planitherm glass to make for a low-emissivity glass that saves a large amount of energy.
Planitherm is suitable for windows and skylights, conservatories and patio doors, as well as glass facades.
Pilkington Glass
Pilkington glass offers you privacy, pure style and also allows more light into internal rooms. Pilkington glass is decorative glass and is available in three ranges: Pilkington Texture Glass, Pilkington Oriel Collection and Pilkington Optifloat™ Opal.
Ironmongery
The original definition of ironmongery simply meant iron products. However, the term has now expanded to cover domestic products made from a range of materials including brass and aluminium.
